Comprehensive Pediatric Care

We provide comprehensive pediatric care from birth through adolescence. Child exams are very important to monitor your child's growth and development, as well as to discuss preventive health care and any necessary vaccines he or she may need. Child visits are recommended rather frequently in the first two years of life; it's currently recommended that your child be seen at 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, and 18 months of age.

After that, we recommend yearly visits from ages 2 to 19. In the first few years, there are many vaccines to give and many questions that parents need to have answered. Again, Dr. Christian is here to listen to you and work with you through any concerns you may have about your childrens' health. We will try to accommodate you as much as possible when your child is ill. Weekend and some evening hours are available for same-day sick visits.

Dr. Christian has privileges at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, and Highland Hospital. In general, when your child is acutely ill, it is best to take him or her to Strong Memorial Hospital or Rochester General. Dr. Christian is able to see your child in the hospital when he or she is sick, and she will also make a visit when your baby is born.
